Attack on public figure Mihran Hakobyan in Yerevan

A violent assault was carried out against public figure Mihran Hakobyan in the parking lot of one of Yerevan’s shopping centers earlier today, lawyer Ruben Melikyan reported on his Facebook page.

“The attackers were masked and suddenly struck from behind. Mihran sustained bodily injuries and is being taken to Izmirlian Medical Center. I am convinced this attack could have been prevented if law enforcement had solved the crime connected to the grenade thrown in front of Mihran’s house back in 2021,” he wrote.
