Avetik Chalabyan’s supporters gather outside courthouse in Yerevan, demanding his release

Supporters of opposition public and political figure Avetik Chalabyan have gathered outside a courthouse in Yerevan, where a hearing in his case is currently underway.

Participants in the rally are demanding his release from custody, saying his prosecution is politically motivated.

Today, the court is reviewing the measure of restraint, as his two-month detention period is set to expire in three days.
