Azerbaijan continues the policy of appropriation of the Armenian Dadivank monastery complex. According to Azerbaijani media, “representatives of the Albanian-Udi Christian religious community of Azerbaijan, the successor of the Albanian (Caucasian) Apostolic Independent Church, visited the Khudaveng monastery complex, performed religious ceremonies and lit candles in the church belonging to the temple complex.”
It should be noted that in Azerbaijan, the Dadivank complex of the historical Armenian district of Karvachar, now controlled by Baku, was declared “Albanian-Udi”, and a policy of appropriation is being actively pursued here.
