Azerbaijan to reduce military service term in peacetime by six months

In Baku, the length of military service in peacetime will be shortened for officers called up from the reserve or those who voluntarily enter into contract service.

According to APA, the relevant draft law is being discussed at a meeting of the Committee on Defense, Security, and Anti-Corruption of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan.

It is stated that, according to the draft law, the term of military service is planned to be reduced by six months.
