Azerbaijani national who illegally crossed Armenian border faces two more charges: Prosecutor General’s Office

Two new charges have been brought against Nasimi Musayev, a citizen of Azerbaijan who illegally entered the settlement of Shaki in the Sisian community of Armenia’s Syunik Province. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia (RA).
“The Prosecutor’s Office reported yesterday that a criminal case had been opened over the incident recorded on October 1, 2026, in the settlement of Shaki in the Sisian community of Syunik Province, on charges of causing grievous bodily harm with the use of a weapon, illegal trafficking of firearms and violation of the inviolability of a dwelling.
In the same case, another criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 469 of the Criminal Code, illegal crossing of the state border, and Part 1 of Article 340, smuggling of firearms. This case has been merged with the main proceedings,” the office said.
