Baku appeals court upholds sentences of former Artsakh leadership

Baku’s Appeals Court has upheld the sentences of Artsakh’s former leadership after reviewing their appeals.

The court’s ruling notes that the verdict of the Baku Military Court, issued on February 5, 2026, in the criminal case against Araik Harutyunyan, Bako Sahakyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan, Arkady Ghukasyan, David Manukyan, David Ishkhanyan, Madat Babayan, Melikset Pashayan, Garik Martirosyan, Erik Ghazaryan, Vasily Beglaryan, Levon Balayan, David Alaverdyan, and Gurgen Stepanyan, is to be left unchanged with respect to the appeals.
