Beniamin Matevosyan: No political leader has made such mistakes as Pashinyan did during the newly independent history of Armenia

Nikol Pashinyan directs investigative actions for the umpteenth time, political scientist Beniamin Matevosyan said in an interview with Alpha News.

“The authorities regularly say that they have money for everything, especially for the army, but we see that there is also a problem with ordinary modular houses. People were living in inhumane conditions and we had the fire in the Azat military shelter, which claimed so many lives. For the umpteenth time, Nikol Pashinyan directs investigative actions, gives clear assessments, and dismisses or appoints people,” Matevosyan said.

According to Matevosyan, no previous leader has ever made such mistakes as Pashinyan did.

“Maybe many people don’t like this, but any official in Armenia has the right to make any mistake and not resign, even if the people demand his resignation, because Nikol Pashinyan continues to hold office. During the newly independent history of Armenia, no political leader has made such gross mistakes as Nikol Pashinyan did. We have tens of thousands of victims, more than a hundred thousand people have been displaced from their historical homeland, we have suffered losses of billions of dollars. People who say that the former authorities looted the country, let’s count and see how much damage they did, but Nikol Pashinyan did not resign,” the political scientist said.

Beniamin Matevosyan said that even under these conditions, the Minister of Defense will not resign; that is why we ended up in such a situation.

“Logically, Suren Papikyan will not resign under these conditions. That is why we ended up like this. Where are those Italian modules Edmon Marukyan was talking about? Have they reached the front line or not? Almost a year has passed, but no progress has been made,” Beniamin Matevosyan concluded.
