Blogger Lapshin: A group of Israeli public figures have published an open appeal to the President of Israel in support of Nagorno-Karabakh

Israel, being an important ally of Aliyev’s regime and an arms supplier, is partially accountable for humanitarian crisis and the blockade in Nagorno-Karabakh, the famous blogger Alexander Lapshin wrote in his channel on Telegram.

“Today, a group of Israeli academics, journalists, public figures and rabbis have published an open appeal to the President of Israel Isaac Herzog. They stated that Israel, being an important ally of Aliyev’s regime and an arms supplier, is partially accountable for humanitarian crisis and the blockade in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The letter says that fully understanding the geostrategic importance of developing relations with Azerbaijan, the Jewish people cannot ignore the tragedy and the Armenian genocide. At the end of the letter, the authors urge the President of Israel to use Azerbaijan’s dependence on Israel and facilitate the immediate lifting of the illegal blockade in Nagorno-Karabakh”, Lapshin wrote.
