British publication The Times has named Yerevan one of Europe’s most appealing and underrated tourist destinations. The article also noted that Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity, in 301 AD.
The journalists noted that the streets of the capital have a “Parisian charm,” but without the high prices and crowds of tourists. In the evenings, jazz plays along Yerevan’s streets, creating a lively and cozy atmosphere.
Readers were advised to visit the Matenadaran, the Cascade, Khor Virap, and Garni. Direct Wizz Air flights between London and Yerevan have made Armenia more accessible to tourists.
