Businessman party wins local elections in Stepanavan, CEC data show

The Businessman party, led by Armen Grigoryan, has won the local government elections in Stepanavan, according to data published by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

Aren Mkrtchyan, Governor of Lori, presented the preliminary results of the elections on social media as follows:

🔹 Businessman – 41.38%, 5,504 votes
🔹 Civil Contract – 35.20%, 4,681 votes
🔹 Strong Armenia – 19.62%, 2,609 votes
🔹 Republic – 3.41%, 453 votes

Preliminary distribution of seats: Businessman – 9, Civil Contract – 8, Strong Armenia – 4.

53 ballots were declared invalid.
