Catholicos of All Armenians and 6 bishops will not appear at today’s court hearing

The preliminary hearing in the criminal case against Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, and six bishops who are members of the Supreme Spiritual Council, is scheduled for September 18 at 15: 00 at the court’s seat in the city of Etchmiadzin, the Information System of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reported.

Exercising the right provided for under Part 4, Article 272 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Catholicos of All Armenians and the senior clergymen will not appear at the hearing. Their interests will be represented by lawyers.
