Catholicos of All Armenians visits Iranian embassy in Armenia

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II visited the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan and honored the memory of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Iran’s late Supreme Leader.

During a meeting with Khalil Shirgholami, IRI Ambassador to Armenia, Karekin II expressed condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iran. The Supreme Patriarch expressed hope that the peace-loving Iranian people would be able to restore security and return to peaceful life.
