Chessy team including Hayk Martirosyan takes bronze at World Blitz Chess Championship

Chessy team with the participation of Armenian GM Hayk Martirosyan became the bronze medalist of the World Blitz Team Championship, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.

The team consisted of Richard Rapport, Alexey Sarana, Hayk Martirosyan, Vidit Santosh Gujrathi, Jorden van Foreest, Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus, Anna Muzychuk, Humpy Koneru and Mukhtar Ainakul.

Martirosyan took second place at the World Blitz Championships, defeating Azerbaijan’s Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.
