Artsvik Minasyan, a representative of the “Armenia” bloc, also delivered a speech at the final stage of the review of the case challenging the election results, based on the complaints submitted to the Constitutional Court by seven political forces. In his remarks, he summarized the opposition’s key claims and presented official statistical data on the merciless use of administrative and state resources during the pre-election period.

Minasyan emphasized that the process that took place cannot be called a classic election. It was an unequal struggle between the ruling force, which had appropriated the state apparatus for itself, and other political entities, in the course of which both the individual and collective political rights of citizens were violated.

“We did not see any reasonable counterarguments, any objective refutations of any of our arguments, evidence, and claims. Moreover, in certain cases, our claims were even confirmed,” Minasyan noted.
