‘Closure has not been discussed yet’: Minister of High-Tech Industry on banning Russian TV channels

The issue of the closure of Russian TV channels has not been discussed yet; everything depends on the end of the consultations, Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan told reporters.

“We will meet and discuss. The date has not been decided yet. We will provide more details later. All the violations are recorded. We will meet on the spot and we will have an objective discussion. The issue of the closure [of Russian TV channels] has not been discussed yet. Everything depends on the end of the consultations. The meeting will take place in Yerevan. It was initiated by the Armenian side,” Khachatryan said.
