‘Congratulations, you are the first and only prosecutor of the third Republic of Armenia, whose report has led to the initiation of a criminal case’: Agnessa Khamoyan to Anna Vardapetyan

During a session of the National Assembly, MP Agnessa Khamoyan from the “Armenia” parliamentary faction addressed Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, requesting clarification regarding the Prosecutor General’s motion to approve the initiation of public criminal prosecution against Artsvik Minasyan, Secretary of the opposition faction “Armenia.”

“Congratulations, you are the first and only prosecutor of the third Republic of Armenia, whose report has led to the initiation of a criminal case. It is indisputable that this case is illegal. Can you remind when Artsvik Minasyan was interrogated? Is there any other testimony regarding the alleged crime? What kind of testimony are we talking about?” the MP asked.

In response, the Prosecutor General stated that Minasyan failed to fulfill his official duties and abused his position in contradiction to the interests of public service.
