David Ishkhanyan sends audio message from Baku prison, calls on RA ombudsperson to meet with him

David Ishkhanyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh, who is being held in a prison in Baku, has sent an audio message from the Baku prison.

He addressed Armenia’s ombudsperson, inviting her to Azerbaijan for a meeting with them.

“Gentlemen, government officials, 19 people held in Azerbaijan are citizens of the Republic of Armenia (RA) with Armenian passports. Know that this is not a matter of our personal honor, it is a matter of honor for all of us. Show at least a little dignity and stand up for us,” Ishkhanyan said, calling on the Armenian people to remain steadfast.
