Demand for business travel from Russia to Armenia rises

According to the service OneTwoTrip for Business, demand for business travel from Russia to Armenia increased by 31% between January 1 and April 30, 2026.
Analysts studied flight bookings made by corporate clients during this period. Overall, the number of international business trips from Russia at the beginning of 2026 grew by 16%. At the same time, a qualitative shift in business travel has been observed: the geographic focus is moving toward Asia and CIS countries.
Among other destinations that showed impressive growth at the start of the year are South Korea (up 181%), Egypt (+136%), Georgia (+83%), Tajikistan (+71%), and Kyrgyzstan (+70%). Russian companies are also actively expanding into the markets of Vietnam, Thailand, and China.
