‘Don’t forget simple human values and don’t become a curse for the Armenian people’ — Samvel Karapetyan

The legal team of businessman, philanthropist, and owner of the Tashir Group of Companies, Samvel Karapetyan, has released the fifth part of his letter, in which he expresses hope that even within the ruling Civil Contract party, there are still decent individuals.
“What have the current authorities accomplished? They have turned the political field into a circus. The National Assembly has become a huge stage for hand-to-hand fights. Not withstanding objective criticism, especially from such strong women politicians as Anna Grigoryan, Kristine Vardanyan, Aghnessa Khamoyan, Anna Mkrtchyan, Taguhi Tovmasyan and others, a small group, lacking a single coherent argument, from time to time engages in hand-to-hand combat with politicians defending women.
Let me clarify who makes up this ‘small group’. It is that part of the ruling Civil Contract party which, lacking education and respect, is ready to trample on all the values of the country and desecrate all that is sacred. I am sure that even in this group there are decent people who are disgusted and disturbed by everything that is happening, to put it mildly. I advise them not to be afraid, not to forget simple human values and not to become the curse of the Armenian people. It doesn’t take much—just try to stand before your fellow citizens and say, ‘I am Armenian’. Soon we will find inner solidarity together. We will fight. To be continued,” the letter reads.
