During a Civil Contract campaign rally in the city of Spitak, an elderly man, the grandfather of Artyom Grigoryan, one of 15 servicemen who burned to death in the barracks in the village of Azat, was forcibly removed from the square.
Pashinyan declared from the podium that “paid” people were being sent to disrupt his campaign.
“I am making my demands, he took my child and burned him in the village of Azat. I raised my son for so many years, sent him to serve in the army, there were 25 days left until he came home, and he burned him… Let him answer himself why this happened. He is lying, no matter how many times we asked him to come and testify in court, he does not come,” the man said.
