During COP17 events, do not take guests to Monte Melkonyan Street: Mesrop Manukyan

Mesrop Manukyan, deputy from the Armenia bloc, advised all government officials taking part in COP17 events, during a speech in the National Assembly, not to take guests to Monte Melkonyan Street in Yerevan.

“And you know why? Just look at how the city authorities from ‘Civil Contract’ cleared the construction debris. Last year I fought day and night for 20 days over the right and left sides of Monte Melkonyan Street. They came and cleared the right side. I used a drone to film the left side, the construction debris is still there. If COP17 participants see the state of Melkonyan Street, they’ll understand who you are,” the deputy noted.
