Eduard Gasparyan wins gold at the European karate championship in Germany

Eduard Gasparyan has won a gold medal at the European Karate Championship in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

In the final of the under-84 kg weight category, Gasparyan defeated Greek karateka Konstantinos Mastrogianni.

Gasparyan is 21 years old, a three-time Russian karate champion, Russian Cup winner, and champion of the BRICS Games.

The competition was held from May 20 to 24.
