In 2025, electricity transit through Georgia fell by 19%, amounting to 870 million kWh. The bulk of the volume came from supplies from Azerbaijan to Turkey — 646 million kWh.
Transit of Russian electricity to Turkey tripled, reaching 179 million kWh, while Armenian electricity transit stood at 45 million kWh. Experts attribute the overall decline to the stabilization of electricity prices in Turkey.
