Emerging “Zangezur corridor,” known as TRIPP, will strengthen Baku’s role: Aliyev

Azerbaijan, located at the intersection of the East–West and North–South corridors, has become an important link and gateway between Asia and Europe. This was stated by Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, addressing participants of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

“The Middle Corridor connects Central Asia via the Caspian Sea with the South Caucasus, Turkey and Europe, and the emerging ‘Zangezur corridor,’ also known as the TRIPP route, will further strengthen Azerbaijan’s role as a regional hub and create new opportunities for trade, investment and industrial cooperation across Eurasia,” the address said.
