EU: Azerbaijan must take steps in addition to making statements

Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, has announced that Armenia is ready to continue the peace talks, and Azerbaijan, in addition to making statements, must also take steps to prove it in action.

“It seems that after the meeting in Granada, Spain, in which Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev did not participate, we missed the opportunity to achieve success,” Klaar told the Azerbaijani service of RFE/RL.
