Europe punished us, deceived us — Arthur Khachikian

Europe punished us, deceived us, and said that it would not allow Armenians to leave Karabakh, but it did not provide any real help, political scientist Arthur Khachikian told Alpha News.

“We have questions for Europe. On what basis did it allow 120 thousand Armenians to leave Karabakh, and why did it not intervene? Turkey brought terrorists to Artsakh—what did Europe do? Nothing. And there is no need to be surprised.

Our very beloved Macron speaks of liberty, equality, and fraternity, yet he welcomes a Syrian terrorist to the Élysée Palace and hugs him. What are we even talking about? What right does he have to tell us, and even more so to ask why Armenia is going to the Victory Parade?” Arthur Khachikian noted, adding that Europe should be the one providing answers, rather than Armenia having to justify its presence in Moscow.
