Event dedicated to 155th anniversary of Komitas held in Russia’s Novorossiysk

An event dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the great Armenian composer, musicologist, singer, choirmaster, and priest Komitas (Soghomon Soghomonyan) was held in Novorossiysk, Russia.

The event was organized by the Armenian language teacher Astghik Galustyan and her students, with the ‘Urartu’ and ‘Akhtamar’ Armenian dance ensembles performing.
