(EXCLUSIVE) Millions bid farewell to Khamenei: Alpha News special report from Tehran

The farewell ceremony for Iran’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who died on February 28 as a result of a US-Israeli attack, continues at Tehran’s main mosque, Mosalla.

According to an Alpha News correspondent in Tehran, millions of citizens from various cities and regions of the country have arrived in the capital to pay tribute to the leader.

The ceremonies, which have continued for several days now, once again underscore the devotion and dedication of the Iranian people to their state.

It should be noted that the funeral of Iran’s supreme leader will take place on July 9 in his hometown of Mashhad. A mass funeral procession is also planned.
