Explosion occurs at ammunition depot in Azerbaijan

A major fire broke out at an ammunition depot located near the Azerbaijani village of Nizami in the Goranboy district. This is reported by Azerbaijani media, citing the republic’s Emergency Situations Ministry, Defense Ministry, and Interior Ministry.

According to local residents, a powerful explosion was heard at night.

Residents of nearby areas were evacuated as a safety precaution. According to the ministries, no one was injured.
