A memorial complex dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide will be built in the city of Irvine, California, in the “Heart of the Park” area of Irvine Great Park.

On April 22, 2026, at an event marking the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a 12-inch model of the monument and sketches of the future project were presented to the public.

The main goal of the initiative is to honor the memory of the victims and preserve historical justice for future generations.

The construction budget is estimated at $750,000. All work is planned to be funded through charitable donations.

The memorial will become an important symbolic center for the Armenian community of California: a place of memory, national identity and continuity between generations.
