Fito Páez: ‘We must not forget the Armenian Genocide’

Argentine musician Fito Páez mentioned the Armenian Genocide during an interview with Julio Leiva at the Avenida Theater in Buenos Aires. The conversation took place during the sixth episode of El Buscador, an interview series organized by the HISPA channel.

Reflecting on historical violence committed against various peoples, Páez noted, “In Germany, they always talk about the genocide of Jews, and we must not forget the Armenian genocide—it was brutal—nor the genocides in Africa, Argentina, and the many others that occurred all over the world. There is a human impulse that pushes us to do this.”
