Flydubai pilot tried to crash plane with passengers by sharply pointing it downward: media

According to media reports, one of the pilots began sharply descending the plane, trying to point it toward the ground.

The other pilot tried to stop him, after which a fight broke out between them. Passengers on the airliner helped the crew take control of the situation.

“We heard screaming on the plane for two hours. The pilot was stabbed, and we saw a lot of blood. The plane completely lost control, we thought we were about to crash, and we screamed,” one of the passengers said.

According to the news outlet N12, the Flydubai plane that sent the distress signal was flown by natives of Russia and Ukraine, who got into a fight during the flight. According to eyewitnesses, flight attendants and passengers had to break into the cockpit. People then began separating the pilots and helping the injured man. The entire cockpit and instrument panel were covered in blood, passengers on the flight reported.

Frightening footage from inside the plane’s cabin has also leaked online. The aircraft is shaking from side to side, and passengers are screaming and praying.
