Former economy minister detained

Former Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan has been detained in Armenia. His brother, Avetik Kerobyan, told RFE/RL’s Armenian Service that a search was carried out at the former minister’s home.

Avetik Kerobyan assured that the search at his brother’s home is in no way connected with his time in office. They are now trying to clarify the motives behind the law enforcement actions.
