France sends 24 Bastion armored vehicles to Armenia, another 26 to be delivered later

24 Bastion armored personnel carriers produced by the French Arquus are being delivered to Armenia; another 26 will be delivered later, the Defense Department of the French Senate said in a statement.

The statement also said that Armenia has recently signed an order to acquire GM200 radars and that negotiations are underway for the delivery of MISTRAL 3 missile systems.

“The French authorities have initiated the delivery of defense weapons to Armenia. We need to quickly respond to all the requests of the Armenian authorities, particularly regarding the need for artillery,” the rapporteurs noted, recommending to “examine the delivery of CAESAR artillery systems as soon as possible, taking into account their effectiveness.”
