Gagik Tsarukyan’s defense team to appeal to international arbitration

The defense team of Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), will appeal to international arbitration amid the suspension of operations at his enterprises, lawyer Elinar Vardanyan told Sputnik Armenia.

“A group of lawyers is currently working on the lawsuit. Since our law enforcement system serves exclusively one person, corresponding lawsuits, complaints and appeals will be sent to various international bodies,” said the PAP representative.

Vardanyan noted that inspections had been carried out at all these enterprises for many years. And suddenly now, on political grounds, some violations were found, as a result of which all facilities of the Multi Group concern (more than 40) have been closed and sealed off. As a result, around 7,000 employees have been sent on forced leave.
