Gohar Gumashyan taken to police station from party office

Strong Armenia party member Gohar Gumashyan has been detained in connection with the case involving the ban on charitable activity. Her fellow party member Gohar Meloyan had already reported this earlier.

According to Meloyan, Gumashyan was taken to a police station directly from the party office. She stressed that the detainee is a nursing mother of a newborn child.

Meloyan described the situation as “yet another act of lawlessness” and “a manifestation of the authorities’ fear.”
