Gor Minasyan wins gold at 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games

Representing Bahrain, Armenian weightlifter Gor Minasyan won the gold medal at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, competing in the over 110 kg category.

The athlete claimed one overall gold and two small gold medals with a commanding performance.

Minasyan set a new Asian record both in the snatch and in the total, reaffirming his status as one of the world’s strongest weightlifters.
