Government program is Pashinyan’s declaration of intent to stay in power for 13 years: Vardevanyan

The government’s program amounts to Nikol Pashinyan’s intention to remain in power for another 13 years. This was stated to journalists by Aram Vardevanyan, Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

“An authority that talks about democracy every day has announced its intention to stay in power for 13 years. Just imagine, the institution of the presidency has existed in the US for three centuries now, and there’s only been one case of a 10-year term. That was Roosevelt, who won victory in World War II. Is Pashinyan, who lost three wars in eight years and brought about foreign-policy threats and occupation, supposed to be Armenia’s Franklin Roosevelt?” Aram Vardevanyan noted.
