Organized by Homenetmen, the 48th Navasartian Games will take place in Los Angeles from July 3 to 6, Garen Jinbachian, Community Coordinator for the ANCA – Western Region, said in an interview with Alpha News.

According to him, participants will be arriving from Canada and Latin America. “A major festival is being planned. Around 40,000 people are expected to gather, with nearly 30,000 scout and sports teams competing,” he said.

Jinbachian added that this year’s festival will also feature exciting new events. Notably, a talent show will be introduced for the first time as part of the festivities.

Actor, director, and producer Vahik Pirhamzei noted that athletes will compete in various sports, including basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, table tennis, chess, and more.

“It’s truly going to be a massive festival. This year, we’re planning a talent show that will include acting, singing, and dancing. Winners will receive awards—such as a round-trip flight to Armenia for two,” he added.
