Heavy machinery brought to Ajapnyak to dismantle kiosks

Heavy machinery is being brought to Yerevan’s Ajapnyak administrative district, where street kiosks are slated for demolition.

The market stalls were due to be dismantled the day before, but their owners staged protests from early morning, and the demolition was postponed until today.

Earlier, representatives of the opposition factions in Armenia’s National Assembly filed a police report alleging a crime in connection with the attempts to dismantle the kiosks.
