Turkish citizens purchased three apartments in apartment buildings in Yerevan in 2023, the Cadastre Committee said in response to Sputnik Armenia’s inquiry.

It should be noted that in 2022, Turkish citizens purchased eleven apartments in Armenia, again in Yerevan.

The Cadastre Committee also reported that Azerbaijani citizens did not purchase real estate in Armenia in 2023, while in 2022 they bought two real estate objects: in Yerevan and in the Lori region.

“Turkish citizens sold two apartments in an apartment building in Yerevan and one land plot in the Ararat region in 2023. During the same period, one apartment in an apartment building was sold by a citizen of Azerbaijan,” the Committee said without specifying the ethnicity of the sellers.

In 2022, citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey did not sell real estate in Armenia.
