“Inviting Zelensky was an act of betrayal toward our ally:” Samvel Karapetyan

Samvel Karapetyan, candidate for prime minister from the Strong Armenia party, said at a press conference in response to a question from an Alpha News journalist that inviting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the European Political Community summit was an act of betrayal by the authorities toward Armenia’s ally.

“The Europeans brought Zelensky so that Pashinyan could give him a masterclass in how to boldly surrender your own territories,” he added.

According to Karapetyan, the Armenian people are unlikely to gain anything from all of this. “Pashinyan has nothing left to offer the Europeans except a Russophobic policy, which they will buy from him with great pleasure,” he concluded.
