Iran expresses readiness to send observers to Armenian-Azerbaijani border

Iran is ready to send observers to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Chief of Staff for the Armed Forces of Iran Mohammad Bagheri said at a meeting with Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan.

“Iran is ready to support the resolution of tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We express our readiness to send observers to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The presence of new actors outside the region increases the complexity and instability of the situation,” Bagheri said.
