Iran-Israel conflict will negatively affect Armenia – Hagop Sevan
The confrontation between Iran and Israel has now entered its seventh day. In recent days, both sides have exchanged strikes. Alpha News spoke with Hagop Sevan, a member of the Armenian National Committee of Jerusalem, about the current situation, the sentiments within the Armenian community, and future developments.
According to him, the past week has seen a tense and serious escalation, but there is no widespread panic among the population.
“They continue with their daily lives. Medical centers are open, and traffic flows freely,” Sevan added.
Addressing the potential for resolving the conflict between Israel and Iran, Sevan also commented on its likely consequences for Armenia.
“Today, Armenia is weak. The Iran-Israel conflict will negatively affect the country—economically, politically, and militarily,” he concluded.
