Iran reports strikes on US military bases in Kuwait and the UAE

Iran’s army, in response to US strikes on September 1 against the south of the Islamic Republic, carried out retaliatory attacks on American military bases in Kuwait and the UAE. This was reported by the army’s press service.
“The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran struck bases of American terrorist forces in the UAE and Kuwait with missiles and drones,” the statement said.
It was noted that the strikes in Kuwait hit “satellite communication systems, equipment warehouses and airfields of American forces in Kuwait,” as well as “troop deployment sites and radars of the US armed forces” in the UAE.
According to the statement from the Iranian army, the attacks were carried out on Thursday morning.
On September 1, the US Central Command reported carrying out a series of strikes on targets in Iran. According to Press TV, explosions rang out along the country’s southern coast, including on Qeshm Island and in a number of cities. In response, Iran struck US military bases in the UAE, Jordan, Iraq and Bahrain. According to Iran’s health ministry, the US strikes on southern Iran on Tuesday killed at least 18 people and wounded 108.
