Iran says opposes any border changes in South Caucasus

Iran calls on Yerevan and Baku to conclude a peace agreement as soon as possible, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a joint briefing with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan.

He noted that Iran is ready to promote peace and stability.

According to Araghchi, Iran is against any border changes in the South Caucasus, and all problems in the region should be solved through diplomacy without the use of force, which is Tehran’s unchanged position.
