Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it attacked facilities at US bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain in response to Monday’s American strikes, Al Jazeera reports.

According to the IRGC statement, several major weapons depots and fuel tanks were hit at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan, among other targets. In Kuwait, Patriot air defense missile systems were destroyed at Ali Al Salem Air Base, along with a strategic FPS radar system at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base. In addition, strikes were carried out on the base of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

The IRGC described the strikes as only the first stage of its response to Monday’s US attacks on Iranian coastal military bases.
