Karen Khachanov advances to semifinals of Qatar Open

Karen Khachanov, ranked No. 17, advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha.
Khachanov’s opponent, Finn Emil Ruusuvuori, was forced to retire because of the injury when Khachanov led 3-0 in the first set.
The 27-year-old Armenian will face Australia’s Alexei Popyrin, ranked No. 46, in the semifinals.
