Karen Khachanov advances to third round at Toronto Masters

Russian Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov has reached the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Toronto.

Seeded 11th, Khachanov delivered a commanding performance in the second round, defeating Argentine qualifier Juan Pablo Ficovich with a score of 6–4, 6–2. The match lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes.

In the next round, Khachanov’s opponent will be Emilio Nava of the United States.
