Karen Khachanov beats Roberto Bautista Agut to reach quarterfinals of Marseille Open

Russian tennis player of Armenian descent Karen Khachanov, the 18th-ranked ATP player, made it to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Open 13 Provence in Marseille, France.

Khachanov beat Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 6-2, 6-2 to reach the last eight. The match lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes, with Khachanov serving 14 aces and no double faults and Bautista Agut serving 5 aces and 2 double faults.

Khachanov will play the winner of the match between Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, which will be held on February 8.
